I would like to thank all of the people who came to Mom's (Elaine
Pruitt) memorial and helped us all remember her. I would also like to
thank the many people who couldn't come, but told me in one way or
another that they wanted to and how sorry they were that they missed it.
And finally a thank you to those of you who have supported me by a
personal visit, card or phone call.
Your words and thoughts have helped me a lot. Thank you all!!
Bonnie Brunner, Chapter B
We will always remember her soft spoken voice and her mischievous grin, especially when playing cards. She would sit quietly and wait, just like a cat sneaking up on a mouse! Her smile would be so bright when she "gotcha"! She was a great lady!

I would like to add something regarding "Mom" and Bonnie.
"The first time Len and I met Bonnie and "Mom" was the first year we
joined Chapter V and did the "STP". We were heading north on on our
route on West Valley Hwy. and pulled in at this deli mart where we saw
this cool looking bike with a sidecar (our bike was still two wheels);
We noticed the lady heading towards the bike and started up a
conversation (you know how Len was). Come to find out she was the rider
and we thought she might have a grandchild as a passenger in the
sidecar. She then said, "No, my mom rides with me." That was the first
time we met Bonnie and "Mom" and it seems that every rally we attended,
there they were. They were everywhere..... together. I'm sure going to
miss "Mom". My deepest condolences to Bonnie and family.
Thank you Nic and Phyllis.

Every time we think of Mom a smile comes to our faces. She truly enjoyed
her many friends and acquaintances in GWTA. She had great fun playing
Chase the Ace after the pot luck following our state officer meetings.
What a poker face she had! You could never tell if she had a good or a
bad card til she flipped the card over. Then she’d give you that impish
smile and her eyes would twinkle and you knew you were toast. She was a
dear soul and we will definitely miss her at all our events. Bonnie,
your motorcycling family is here to help in any way we can. Our
sincerest condolences.

Our Mom of Chapter B -- The Bee’s.
Mom has been an inspiration to all of us. I remember when she rode on
the back of Bonnie’s bike and then graduated to the side car.
She always had our Bee decorations ready and waiting for us for all
events. She never wanted to miss any of them. With a bright smile on her
beautiful face, she was always ready and willing to go North, South,
East or West. Helmet on with all her gear and Tinker (her dog) at her
side.
Mom always made sure everyone had more than enough to eat and filled
their tummies. Now she took the ultimate trip to the far Heavens where I
know she truly is united with family and many other biker buddies.
We miss you, Mom, but will always have you in our hearts.

"It's not how many people in the church to say good-bye; it's how many
people in your life to say "hello".
That was our parent's philosophy and it fit Mom Pruitt perfectly! Mom
was a lady who truly brought sunshine to our lives and our hearts. Every
time we saw her we were greeted with a great smile. Unknowingly, she
brought out the best in all of us in a way we can never explain. We cry,
not for her, but for ourselves as we can never fill the void left by
this wonderful friend and icon of our organization. We remember her, and
all our lost riding friends, every morning when we see the sunrise of a
new day. May she ride the heavens forever.

We cannot think of one particular incident that we can point out about
"Mom", but rather the feeling that we got each time we would see her at
an event. Always smiling and always happy to see you. She wasn't Mom
Pruitt to many of us, she was just "Mom." Seeing Mom and Bonnie was
always something that could be counted upon, whether we were in Spokane
at MAD, at a State Gathering or at Gold Rush wherever. They were just
there, as you knew they would be. So Bonnie we say "Thank you" for
sharing your Mom with us and to "Mom" we say "Thank you" for blessing us
with your smile and your outlook on life. Our lives are richer for
having known you.
